The Island of Ireland Peace Choir to mark it’s 20th anniversary in Waterford City this afternoon

The Island of Ireland Peace Choir was formed by groups in Waterford and Omagh in the wake of the Omagh bombing.
The choir will be performing at two events in the Museum of Treasures, in the Garden Room from 3:30 to 4:30pm and in the Tower Hotel lobby from 7:30 to 8pm.
Founder and musical director, Phil Brennan says the second performance will likely continue much later.
“If any of the public want to come and see us, we’d love to see them,” he says. “We’ll be relaxing later and having a few drinks and we’ll probably sing into the early hours, but the formal part will be done between half 7 and 8.”
