Investigation underway after body discovered in Waterford City

Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances following the discovery of a body of a man in his 20s, on Merchants Quay, Waterford, at approximately 2:15pm, Thursday 6^th April.

His body has been removed to University Hospital Waterford where a post-mortem will take place at a later date, the results of which will determine the course of the investigation.
