Gardaí are continuing to investigate the discovery of a woman’s body in the Clonmel area. 

The woman’s body was discovered shortly before 3pm on Monday in an area of County Waterford south of the town.

The Garda Technical Bureau examined the scene yesterday (Tuesday).

The results of a post-mortem examination will assist investigating Gardaí in determining the course of the investigation.

A file will be prepared for the Coroner.
