Incident involving dark-clothed man in Waterford being investigated by Gardai

An incident of criminal damage in Ballybeg is currently under investigation.

A man in dark clothes carrying a shovel was seen smashing the window of a car on the evening of May 1st.

Crime Prevention Officer, Sergeant Deirdre O'Neill, told Waterford Garda Watch of the details.

"The car was an o6 W grey Nissan Almeira, it was parked outside the house on St. Saviour's Green. A man was seeing fleeing the scene carrying a shovel, it was about 10.30pm at night so it was dark, but anyone who may have seen the

incident is asked to contact Waterford Garda Station."
