Motorists in Waterford who use dash-cams are being asked to check back on their footage if they travelled on the Outer-Ring Road last weekend.
A considerable amount of material, including, palletts, frames, black bags and a baby's Moses Basket were illegally dumped on the hard shoulder of the Outer Ring Road, between the Ballycashin Roundabout and the Six-Cross Roads Roundabout.
Raymond Maloney, Head of the Environment Dpt at Waterford City and County Council says the dumping took place over the weekend or early on Monday morning.
He says that many people use dash-cams these days and may have spotted something, or witnessed something as they drove by.
They are asking for the public's help in identifying those responsible by calling 0761 10 20 20.
