Permission has been granted for the construction of a new housing development and childcare facility in Kill.
21 conditions are attached to the development.
Conditional planning has been granted for the construction of 15 dwellings by Causeway Group Ltd.
The group have a number of existing residential and commercial properties in Waterford such as Railway Square, Factory Nightclub and the Greenway Manor Hotel.
The development will consist of a mix of two-storey single and semi-detached dwellings next to the existing Ceol na Mara estate in Kill.
Planning has also been granted under the same application for the construction of a single-storey childcare facility within the confines of the housing development.
Access will be given through the Ceol Na Mara estate, with one of the planning conditions being that no construction traffic can pass through there during the construction phase.
The decision was returned on October 19th.
