Gardaí have sealed off a house in Rathmullan area of Drogheda, Co Louth in connection with the discovery of partial human remains in Dublin.
Tests are continuing this evening on the body parts found in a burning car in Drumcondra overnight.
It’s believed the body parts belong to the same victim, whose limbs were found in a sports bag in Coolock on Monday.
One line of inquiry is that the remains may belong to a missing teenage boy who has links to a criminal gang.
Investigations Editor with the Sunday World, Nicola Tallant, says the search of the house is significant:
"The house is being forensically examined; it's in an estate called Rathmullan Park. There's certainly blood staining there and attempts to clean the area."
