Met Eireann is predicting heavy thundery rain in Waterford this evening and tonight.

The forecaster has issued a status yellow warning for Waterford, Wexford, Kilkenny, Tipperary, Cork, Limerick and Kerry.

It’s expecting torrential downpours in places leading to spot flooding.

The alert is in place from 8 o’clock this evening until 9 o’clock tomorrow morning.
