Gardaí remain highly visible across Dublin this afternoon as thousands are expected to gather for protests focused on Ireland’s immigration policies.

Protesters are set to call on the Government to reassess its approach to immigration and asylum seekers.

Meanwhile, a counterprotest organised by ‘United Against Racism’ is also planned, with several other political and independent groups expected to attend.

Conor McGregor has already arrived at the Garden of Rememberance in Dublin ahead of the protest.
