Dungarvan-based company, Haleon previously known as GSK, won the Overall Business of the Year at the 9th Annual Waterford Business Awards on Friday.
The awards were run in conjunction with Waterford City and County Council, Waterford Chamber and West Waterford and Dungarvan Chambers of Commerce and WLR
Communications and engagement lead with the company, Eva Walsh said they were absolutely delighted with winning the award given the tough category they were in.
She told Deise Today it's a huge accolade for the whole team. She added: "It was a big surprise, given the category we are in. It was a tough category. Even more surprising to win the overall business of the year. It is great recognition for the whole team there are over 900 colleagues in Haleon.".
