The Green Party will announce their sole Waterford candidate for the upcoming General Election this evening.
Green Party Leader and Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, Roderic O’Gorman will visit Waterford today, Tuesday September 3rd to confirm the selection.
Minister O’Gorman will be joined by Minister for Nature, Heritage and Electoral Reform, Malcolm Noonan at the event in The Parnell Room of The Granville Hotel at 6.30pm.
Marc Ó Cathasaigh, TD is likely to be announced as the Green Party’s candidate to contest the next General Election in Waterford.
The General Election is to be held no later than March 2025.
However, there is the possibility that an earlier election may come to fruition.
