Gardai in Dungarvan are at a scene in Grattan Square following the discovery of a body this morning.
An area of the square has been cordoned off as Gardai conduct their investigations.
The body was discovered at 6am this morning and senior Gardai remain at the scene.
The body of a man has been removed to University Hospital Waterford for a post mortem investigation, which will further determine the course of investigations.

Businesses in the area have now re-opened.
