The launch to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the first raising of the Irish tri colour takes place in the Granville Hotel at 5.30pm this evening.

Former Irish Ambassador to the US, Dan Mullhall is this year's patron of events.
Three days of celebrations will take place from the 3rd to the 5th March culminating in the flag-raising ceremony on Sunday the 5th.
Ann Cusack of the Waterford Civic trust told Deise today that Taoiseach Leo Varadkar will be in attendance at Sunday's ceremony.
