
2018 revenues at Glanbia are up by over 4 per cent to a total of 2 point 4 billion euro.
The company announced their annual results earlier this morning.
Adjusted earnings per share 91.01 cent, up 9.0% constant currency on prior year on a pro-forma basis.
Commenting today Siobhán Talbot spoke to WLR’s Kieran O’Connor on Farmview.
“We’re really pleased with the year overall,” she said. “We’re delighted with the top line, with sales up over 4%, getting really good traction across on the ingredients side and the branded side.”
She credited the increases to, “strong volume growth across our business, in particular in the branded portfolio of GPN and the
Nutritional Solutions component of GN.”
“Consumer demand for our brands and nutritional ingredients remains strong underpinned by positive long-term global health and wellness trends.”
