The aim of the project is to develop children's curiosity and understanding of how food is produced and gets to our tables. Founder of GIY Michael Kelly told WLR News what the children will be doing this year

He was speaking as GIY and Super Value launch their Let's Grow initiative today.
It will see over 50 thousand schoolchildren across the country take on the challenge of growing their own food.
