UPDATE: Tonight's performance of A Christmas Carol (Sunday December 19th) has been cancelled after one of the members had a positive Antigen Test.

The remaining performances will be dependant on the result of the PCR test.

Garter Lane Arts Centre will be in contact with those who booked tickets.

An 8 o'clock curfew gets underway tomorrow, which will affect pubs, restaurants, cinemas and theatres.

There are also new caps on indoor and outdoor events, with indoor gatherings limited to 50 per cent capacity or 1,000 people.

However the Garter Lane production of 'A Christmas Carol' has decided to continue their performances this week in Waterford.

Performances of A Christmas Carol tomorrow (Monday, Dec 20),  Tuesday, Dec 21 and Wed Dec 22 will now go ahead at 6pm in order to accommodate audiences as a result of the latest Government guidelines.
Co-producer of the production Padraig O'Gríofa spoke to WLR News about their decision today.
