An Garda Síochána are investigating an alleged assault that occurred at a residence in Waterford City this morning (Sunday).
Gardaí in Waterford received a report of an incident and attended the scene, a residence on High Street, at approximately 11:40am.
Two males, both in their 40s, were conveyed to University Hospital Waterford for treatment of serious but not life-threatening injuries.
A technical examination of the scene has since taken place.
