Gardaí in Waterford are appealing for information in relation to a robbery which occurred at a service station in the city.

The incident at Walsh’s Texaco on the Cork Road happened on Thursday April 10th at approximately 9.30pm and follows another similar incident at the same location on March 12th.

In the latest incident, a man wearing a black hooded jumper, black jacket, grey sweat pants and a balaclava entered the store brandishing a knife and demanded money.

He is described as being between 5ft 6 to 5ft 8 in height and appeared to have facial hair.
