Gardaí in Waterford are appealing for information, following the theft of several vehicles in Waterford City.
A White Volkswagen Passat was stolen in the Manor St. John area of the city.
Garda Mark Gavin from Portlaw Garda Station had this appeal on this week's Waterford Garda Watch.
"From December 1st and 2nd, between 8 am and 3 am the following morning, a white Volkswagen Passat saloon was stolen from the Manor St. John area of Waterford."
Gardaí are also appealing to owners of Japanese Import cars to remain vigilant, as there have been reports of particular makes being targeted.
Separately, a Black Nissan was stolen from the Farmleigh area on Dunmore Road.
Garda Mark Gavin continued, "This incident happened in the Farmleigh area of Waterford City, between 10 pm and 1 am on the 28th of November.
"The car was subsequently recovered on the R680 at Brownswood between Fidown and Carrick-on-Suir so we'd be asking anybody that saw anything suspicious in those areas to contact Gardaí."
Finally, a silver Nissan was stolen from the city centre in the last few days, as Garda Mark Gavin explained.
"On the 29th of November, sometime between 1.30 pm and 3.20 pm on December 1st a Silver Nissan was stolen from O'Connell Court near the Penrose Lane area of the city.
"We are asking anyone if they saw anything suspicious to contact Waterford Garda Station on 051-305300."
