Gardaí have arrested a male in his connection with two robberies from two retail premises in Waterford city centre last Saturday.
Plain clothes Garda gave chase on foot and apprehended the suspect, who was a male aged in his 20s.
The incident occurred at approximately 9am in two premises on Michael Street and Barronstrand Street.
He was subsequently charged and appeared before Waterford District Court yesterday, Monday February 12th.
