The funeral will take place later today of the late Waterford music legend Vince Power.
The 76-year-old, originally from Kilmacthomas, passed away on Saturday, March 9th.
Best known for his work as an Irish music venue and festival owner, Power was the founder of Mean Fiddler and lived and operated in London.
Vince's Requiem Mass will take place at 12 noon today at All Saints Church, Newtown Co. Waterford, with burial immediately afterward in the adjoining cemetery.
Vince's funeral cortege will pass his family residence in Ballyshonock at approximately 11:30 am and will walk from Flynn's Bar at approximately 11:50 am to arrive for Requiem Mass.
Vince is survived by his children Maurice, Sharon, Gail, Brigid, Patrick, Nell, Niall, and Evie; siblings Mai, Chris, Sadie, and Margo, and extended family and friends.
