The funeral of Aidan Bergin who died in a tragic accident in Bulgaria will take place this weekend.
Aidan (29) from Kylemore, Clonea, Dungarvan, died on January 29th in an accident at a ski resort.
Many tributes have been paid to Aidan as the local community comes to terms with his death.
Aidan's death notice reads that he is "deeply missed by Niall, his parents Joe and Máire, brothers Patrick and Eoghan, sister Niamh and her fiancé David, aunts, uncles, cousins and his many many friends both at home and abroad. Aidan, taken so suddenly from us, will live in our hearts for ever."
Aidan will be reposing at The Kiely Funeral Home, Dungarvan this evening (Friday) from 4.30 p.m. with Prayers at 7 p.m.
Requiem Mass takes place at 11 a.m. on Saturday morning, 8th February, in St. Augustine's Church, Abbeyside. Interment afterwards in St. Laurence's Cemetery, Ballinroad.
His death notice adds: "House strictly private at all times. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust."
