
More than eight million euro in funding has been allocated for projects on the N25 and N72 national roads in Waterford.
The funding is being provided by Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) to Waterford City and County Council in the form of capital investment, protection, renewal and maintenance allocations.
Included is €2,679,000 allocated for the N25 Carroll’s Cross to Ballyduff East Pavement project; €450,000 for the N72 Lismore traffic calming Phase 1 Pavement; €175,000 for minor works on the N72 Lismore; €192,000 for minor works on the N25 Ballyduff West; and €90,000 for traffic calming measures at N25 at Leamybrien.
This allocation for Waterford is part of a national investment package of €633 million aimed at enhancing the national network.
