Four more cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.
Four people from the same family in Co Clare tested positive for Covid-19 after returning from northern Italy.
The two males and two females are the first cluster here and they are now being treated in isolation in hospital.
It brings to six the number of confirmed cases in the Republic while three cases have been confirmed in the North.
Clinical Editor of the Medical Independent, Priscilla Lynch, says the number of people being tested in Ireland has increased significantly:
"Up to last week, less than 100 people had been tested for suspected Covid-19; but as of last Tuesday, nearly 400 cases had been tested at the National Virus Reference Laboratory for suspected coronavirus, and at that stage only two cases had tested positive and now we know obviously that the numbers have increased and there's six that's tested positive."
