Five Waterford community groups to benefit from funding

A total of €184,875 has been allocated to five communities in rural Waterford as part of the 2024 CLÁR scheme.

Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys made the announcement this week.

The funding targets small-scale infrastructural projects in rural areas that have recorded a decline in population.

The Waterford projects benefiting are:

Geraldines GAA Club Replacement Fencing €10,800

Ballysaggart GAA Club Walking Track €42,591

 

Tourin Community Company Additional Carparking adjacent to Community Hall €41,400
Clashmore/Kinsalebeg Community Council Walking track around current GAA Pitch €40,084

 

Modeligo Community Centre & Sportsfield Spectator Stand €50,000
