The Fine Gael investigation into bullying in the Waterford Constituency is continuing.

TD John Deasy, who is the Government’s US envoy, and a former local election candidate, Fiona Dowd, have made allegations to the party.

Fine Gael’s former director of elections Maurice Cummins has denied the bullying claims.

Party Secretary Tom Curran was in Waterford last week and spoke to John Deasy, Fiona Dowd, Maurice Cummins and other members of the Party.

Dáil record

Critics of Waterford TD John Deasy say he’s never around and is not working for Waterford.

The Dungarvan native was first elected to Dáil Eireann in 2002 and began his fourth term as a TD in 2016.

Deputy Deasy however did table 242 parliamentary questions so far during this Dáil term.

In comparison, John Halligan who has served as Minister of State for Training and Skills since May 2016 has made around 150 contributions in the houses of the Oireachtas from the 10th of March 2016 until the 19th of June.
