The Fianna Fáil party in Waterford is set to host its selection convention ahead of the upcoming General Election.
It will take place this evening (Thursday) at Lawlor's Hotel in Dungarvan.
Current Fianna Fáil TD for the constituency, Minister for Mental Health and Older People Mary Butler, will seek nomination again.
Meanwhile, sitting councillor for Waterford City East, Adam Wyse, previously expressed his intention to seek nomination from the party to also contest the next General Election.
Voting among Fianna Fáil members takes this evening with the selection convention then commencing.
