Waterford City and County Council, in partnership with BAM, has confirmed that nighttime resurfacing works will take place on Dock Road in Ferrybank during October.
Dates and Times for Ferrybank Dock Road Resurfacing
The works are scheduled from Monday, October 6th to Friday, October 10th and again from Monday, October 13th to Wednesday, October 15th. Each night, resurfacing will begin at 8pm and continue until 6am the following morning.
Traffic Restrictions and Diversions
A stop-go traffic management system will be in operation on Dock Road throughout the works. In addition, Rockshire Road will be closed at its junction with Dock Road. A diversion route will be in place via Newrath Road for all road users.
Safety and Access During the Works
The resurfacing will be carried out at night to minimise disruption to residents, businesses, and commuters. The Council stressed that the approach prioritises the safety of road users and on-site personnel. Emergency and local access will be maintained at all times.
Waterford City and County Council and BAM apologised for any inconvenience and thanked the public for their cooperation during the works.
