A woman in her 30s has died after being hit by a van in Dublin.
It's understood she was out jogging when she was struck by a van after it mounted a footpath in Raheny.
This crash happened shortly after 7pm yesterday on the James Larkin Road.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and was removed to Connolly Hospital where a post mortem will take place.
The male driver of the van wasn't injured.
The scene at the crash site is currently preserved for examination and the cycle pathway on this road remains closed.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and road users with camera footage, who were travelling on the road between 6.45pm and 7.30pm, to contact Raheny Garda Station.
