A man arrested by Gardaí investigating a fatal assault in Carrick on Suir has been released without charge.
On Saturday night, a man in his 40s was stabbed at an apartment complex in the North Quay area of the town.
He was brought to University Hospital Waterford, where he died of his injuries early yesterday morning.
A man in his 40s was arrested in connection with the investigation. He was released from Clonmel Garda Station this afternoon.
