The WLR Farm Auction has successfully raised an impressive sum of €16,570 for the WLR Christmas Appeal for St Vincent De Paul.
The event, held in Dungarvan saw overwhelming support from the local community.
The auction, featured over 70 items generously donated by prominent farming and food companies in Waterford.
A diverse range of items showcased the community's commitment to supporting those in need during the festive season.
The success of the auction was made possible through the hard work and dedication of several key individuals - Organiser Kieran O’Connor, presenter Sean Organ with Declan Prendergast, Michael Byrne, and Tom Power manning the phones.
Their efforts ensured that the auction reached its fundraising goals.
WLR would like to thank all our listeners and generous donors who have supported the auction this year.
The event would not have been possible without the generous sponsorship from Tirlán, whose support contributed significantly to the success of the event.
Kieran O’Connor extended his heartfelt appreciation to the WLR staff and Tirlán for their commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
Special recognition is also due to Lisa Curran at Countrylife for her invaluable assistance and to Glanbia’s June White for her administrative support throughout the auction.
Their contributions behind the scenes played a crucial role in the event.
The funds raised during the WLR Farm Auction will go directly to the WLR Christmas Appeal for St Vincent De Paul, supporting families and individuals in need across County Waterford.
WLR would like to express their gratitude to everyone who participated, donated, and supported the farm auction in 2023.
