The National Lottery has confirmed the EuroMillions Winner has come forward.
The holder of the winning ticket for Tuesday night’s draw will be €250 million richer.
The ticket was purchased from a retailer in County Cork, the company revealed, with the name of the shop set to be announced tomorrow.
No further details will be shared at this time. This win is the largest ever recorded in Ireland and marks the 18th EuroMillions jackpot win in the country since the lottery began in 2004.
“We are delighted to have heard from our EuroMillions winner,” said National Lottery spokesperson Emma Monaghan. “Right now, our focus is on giving them the time and privacy they need to process this life-changing news and make their arrangements.”
The winning numbers for Tuesday’s draw were 13, 22, 23, 44, 49, with Lucky Stars 3 and 5.
