Emergency Services safely recover those involved in Portally Cove incident

Two people have been winched to safety in the Portally Cove area of county Waterford.
The individuals found themselves stuck on a cliff this afternoon in the Dunmore East area.
Emergency services became aware of the incident at approximately 3pm today.
Marine Rescue Coordination Centre in Dublin tasked the Dunmore East Coast Guard Unit and the Waterford-based Coast Guard Helicopter R117 to the incident.
Shortly before 4pm both individuals were winched to safety by the Coast Guard R117 Helicopter.
They were handed over to the care of the Coast Guard team and Gardaí.
