The Ballymacarbry to Clonmel road in County Waterford is expected to remain closed into the afternoon, following an earlier RTA.
The incident involving a lorry and a car occurred this morning on the R671 north of Ballymacarbry and close to the Council depot.
The collision is understood to have been serious, and one person has been taken to University Hospital Waterford.
Their condition currently is unknown.

Garda Road Traffic Collision Investigators are currently at the scene and motorists are advised to avoid the route.
