Emergency services are currently attending the scene of a serious incident involving a car and an e-scooter in Waterford City.

The incident is understood to have occurred on Manor Hill (also known locally as Bunkers Hill), close to the junction with Hennessy Road, College Street.

Gardaí and emergency services remain at the scene as investigations continue.

Motorists and road users are advised to exercise caution in the area, as traffic restrictions and delays are likely while emergency services carry out their work.
