Revenue officers seized cannabis resin at Rosslare Europort yesterday, 27 November 2025. In total, 204.04 kilograms of cannabis resin seized at Rosslare Europort has an estimated value of €1.22 million.

Officers stopped and searched an accompanied freight unit that arrived from France following routine profiling.

Revenue detection dog Mollaidh assisted with the discovery.

Gardaí arrested a man in his 40s. He remains in custody for questioning under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.

Investigations are ongoing.

Revenue says the operation forms part of its continued work to target smuggling and shadow economy activity.
