Major traffic delays are being reported on the Dunmore Road this afternoon.
Motorists have reported that the Williamstown Road heading toward Waterford City is completely backed up and delays of up to 45 minutes are being experienced.
A stop-go traffic management system remains in place today on the Farronshoneen Roundabout to facilitate road works.
Phase 6 of construction works is currently underway, involving the reconstruction of the Outer Ring Road on the Airport Road approach to the roundabout.
The carriageways will be reduced from 2 lanes to 1 in the vicinity of the roundabout for the duration of the works but will remain open to traffic at all times.
There will be a limited use of Stop / Go traffic management during this phase but no road closures or diversions.
