Motorists in Waterford city and county are being urged to exercise caution in wet and windy conditions this afternoon.
A status yellow rainfall warning remains in place for eight counties including Waterford until 7pm this evening.
Rainfall accumulations of 30 to 40mm are expected with the risk of localised flooding.

Meanwhile, a status orange wind warning has been issued for Cork.
A status yellow wind warning is currently in place for the rest of the country, and is set to last until 3am tomorrow morning.
