The death has occured of well-known Waterford businessman Gerry Sheridan.
Mr Sheridan was Managing Director of Sheridan Hertz Motor Group and latterly the Chairman of the company.
Prior to joining the family business, he was General Service Manager of RTE and was Chairman and Director of WLR from 1988 to 2018.
Mr Sheridan died peacefully on Monday 12th February at St. Vincent’s University Hospital.
Removal will take place on Friday morning to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook for Funeral Mass at 11am
A Prayer Service will take place in St. Mary’s Church, Ballygunner, Waterford at 3.15 pm on Friday afternoon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
