One person has been taken to hospital following a crash on the Waterford to Kilmeaden Road.

The incident involving a car and a cyclist happened on the R680 near Tramore Cross at around 1.30pm.

The cyclist has been taken to hospital to be checked over however their injuries are not believed to be serious.

Traffic has returned to normal in the area.
