Cyclist killed after road accident in County Waterford this morning
The incident happened on a part of the Dunmore Road between Jaybee’s Shop and Bell Lake Junction at around 7 o’clock this morning.
The cyclist, a man in his 40’s, was pronounced dead at the scene after being hit by a car.
His body has since been removed to University Hospital Waterford.
The road is currently closed pending an examined by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
