A planning application has been lodged to Waterford City and County Council seeking planning permission for the construction of 95 homes and a creche on the outskirts of Waterford City.

The proposed development, at Cul Dara on the Williamstown Road in Waterford City, was submitted by applicant Liam Neville Developments on Wednesday December 18th.

If granted, the development would consist of the construction of a two storey creche and 95 houses comprising 26 two-storey 3-bed semi detached homes, 33 two-storey 3 bed terraced and end of terrace homes , 8 two-storey 2-bed terraced homes and 3 2/3 storey duplex blocks containing 16 two-storey 2-bed units and 12 1-bed units.

The development would be accessed from the existing Cul Dara access road.

The development will include public open space, 110 car park spaces, cycle parking and all associated site works and infrastructure services.

A decision is due on or before February 20th 2025.
