ESB Networks say it will take several hours to repair a fault in County Waterford.
143 customers are without electricity in the Abbeyside area of Dungarvan since approximately 11.00 pm last night.
Crews are on-site repairing the cable fault and they expect to have power restored at around 4.30 pm this afternoon.
A spokesperson for ESB Networks told WLR News that:
"Crews are on site presently repairing the cable fault, but unfortunately this fault is of a nature that will take a number of hours to repair.
"We expect to have customers restored at around 4:30 pm this afternoon.
"We apologise for the obvious inconvenience caused."
