Drivers are being warned of significant delays on the N25 near the top of the Sweep, heading toward Cork, due to an earlier road traffic incident.

Emergency services are currently at the scene, with Stop/Go traffic controls in place. The crash, which happened earlier this morning, is understood to have involved a car and a lorry.

Motorists travelling in both directions, especially those heading towards Dungarvan, are being urged to slow down and proceed with caution. Gardaí remain at the scene managing traffic and assisting with the clean-up operation.

There are no official reports yet on injuries.

Drivers should expect delays and consider alternative routes if possible.
