720 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported today, with 5 additional deaths.
The national 14-day incidence rate per 100,000 population is now 307.6.
There are 20 new cases in Waterford, 263 cases have been confirmed here in the two weeks up from the 13th to the 26th of October.
Waterford's 14-day incidence rate is now 226.4, two weeks ago it was 69.7.

Of today's cases, there are 228 in Dublin, 130 in Cork, 47 in Galway, 31 in Meath and 27 in Limerick.
The rest are spread across 20 other counties.
Of the cases notified today;
- 348 are men / 371 are women
- 65% are under 45 years of age
- The median age is 32 years old
