For the second day in a row, there were fewer than 5 cases of Covid-19 in Waterford.
The national total dropped below 300 for the first time in two weeks, with 252 cases reported last night.
However, NPHET said it wouldn't be surprised if case numbers were higher this evening.
Here in Waterford, just two cases were confirmed on Sunday night and fewer than 5 last night (the exact figure will be released tonight).
Waterford's 14-day incidence rate continues to be the fifth-highest in the country.
It's now 155.8 after 181 cases were confirmed here during the last fortnight.
Hospital Figures
The number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 at University Hospital Waterford has fallen to two.
That's according to the HSE's Daily Operations Update.
One suspected case was awaiting the results of testing last night.
There were no covid patients in intensive care at the time.
