Record-high numbers of patients with Covid-19 are being treated at University Hospital Waterford.
According to the HSE's Daily Operations Update, there were 43 cases on-site at 8.00 pm last night.
That's an increase of 10 cases in the space of 24-hours.
Six patients with the virus were in intensive care, one additional suspected case was also being treated in ICU yesterday.
Last night, the hospital was awaiting the results of three suspected cases in total.
Cork University Hospital had the highest number of cases with 118, followed by Limerick with 96.
There were 109 cases of Covid-19 in South East hospitals last night. 43 in Waterford, 26 in Kilkenny, 25 in Wexford and 15 in South Tipperary.
17 of those patients were in intensive care.
