Excitement is building ahead of this weekend’s Solas Cancer Support Centre Run and Walk for Life.

Latest figures show there are 2,650 online registrations, with this expected to rise as the week continues.

The 10K Run and Walk in Dungarvan starts at 10am at Walton Park on Saturday, while the 10k Run and Walk starts on Sunday at 10am on the Quay in Waterford City.

The popular 4K walk will also be available this year in both Waterford and Dungarvan.

While the deadline to receive a t-shirt by post has passed, participants can still register online and collect their packs during the following time:

In Waterford from the Solas Cancer Support Centre on Friday from 2pm to 7pm; on Saturday from 3pm to 5pm; and on Sunday from 8am to 9am.

Packs can be collected in Dungarvan from the Causeway Tennis and Bowls Club on Saturday 11th from 8.30am to 9.30am.
