Two consecutive bridge lifts will take place in Waterford City from this morning, April 10th.

Rice Bridge will lift at 11:40am and shortly afterwards, the Sustainable Transport Bridge will lift at 12.15pm.

Motorists are advised that peak-time traffic delays may be experienced on the approach to Rice Bridge.

Delays from Bridge Lift and Road Works

Traffic is likely to also be impacted by ongoing road works on Dock Road.

Traffic management commenced on March 30th on the outbound lane between Rice Bridge and Ard Ri entrance.

Works are expected to continue for a number of weeks.
