Conditional planning approved for housing development and childcare facility in Kill

Permission has been granted for the construction of a new housing development consisting of 15 units and a childcare facility in Kill Co. Waterford with 21 conditions attached.

The applicant is registered under The Causeway Group LTD with an address at Suites 9 & 10 Station House Railway Square Waterford with company director Sean Johnston. The group has a number of residential and commercial properties in Waterford including Railway Square, Factory Nightclub, and the Greenway Manor Hotel.

The development consists of a mixture of two-story, single, and semi-detached dwellings located next to the existing Ceol na Mara Estate. Planning has also been granted under the same application for the construction of a single-story childcare facility within the housing development.

Access will be given through the Ceol na Mara estate with a condition attached that no construction traffic is to enter through there during the construction phase, and all traffic should enter from the existing R681. If there is no appeal against the decision, a final grant notification will be issued to the applicant.
